East Six Design is a new designer for Wedding Paper Divas. They are based in SoHo and founded by two childhood friends Marina Marchisi and Stacey Mui. They try to create custom wedding invitations that reflect the unique style, vision, and tastes of the bride and groom. They have some great new Save the Dates that I adore.
One of my favorites from East Six features Baroque Scrolls and so is aptly named. It is a romantic design that can be a wonderful touch for your Save the Date card. You can customize it to have a black, eggplant, or blue background. It is featured on the left.
The Save the Date card on the right is called Haute Heraldry and features rounded corners and reminds me of a Broadway playbill poster. It features scrolls that give it an “old time” feel and you can customize it with your wedding date and you and your fiance’s name.
Picturebook was founded in 2001 by Liz Malherek & Kelly Verbrick. Their designs are focused on providing connections to people. Their flair is for the simple and yet contemporary. Like Apple they view minimalist design as the key to allow a design to best communicate the intentions of the sender. After all, your personal message to your friends and family in your Save the Date postcard is what is key.
I was told that this postcard is actually the 2nd most popular Save the Date in the entire Wedding Paper Divas collection! It is great in that it lets you pick up to 5 pictures to include so you get a ton of chances to show off your new engagement pictures. It’s got a bright color tone with the date of your wedding shown in colorful vivid colors. Just make sure to choose some bright and vivid photos and perhaps mix it up with some black and white photos too.
This Save the Date postcard is supposedly the fourth most popular card. It is easy to see why it is so popular. It has a simple contemporary design with the Almond colored cursive style script of your wedding nuptials date. I like the text that says Megan and Michael are “tying the knot”. It’s so darling! The only downside is it is just a single photo. But sometimes when you have that one perfect photo of you and your fiancé that is all you need.

Petite Alma Save the Dates are so great I had to feature her Save the Date magnets again. Kirby Alma is the designer behind Petite Alma. She has a wonderful flair for simple style that is combined with a Parisian influence she honed while working in Paris.
Two of my favorites are listed below. The first Save the Date magnet on the left is called Beach Flowers and it features a beautiful aqua blue orchid flower. This is perfect for a tropical or beach themed wedding. I really like the aqua blue cursive of your and your fiance’s names.
The card on the right is called Stylish Script and is just has in simple script “Save the Date” in black calligraphy writing. If you want a simple magnet to just announce your wedding nuptials this is a good choice.
The photo Save the Date magnet on the upper right is called sophisticated hand. You just choose a favorite engagement photo and it looks fabulous with the white script and banner with your wedding information. If you prefer a non photo Save the Date the option on the right is called Cupids Mark. It has a cute drawing of a heart with an arrow through it. So adorable!
I’m proud to announce that Beau Coup has finally released photo save the date magnets. They have a good selection of reasonable priced magnets ($1.80 each) available. These Save the Dates come in horizontal or vertical styles that are sized at 3.5 x 2 inches which is smaller than most similar Save the Date cards but about right for magnets. The quality is good and the they have a selection of over 20 magnets to choose from. Unfortunately you can not actually preview the magnet with your own customized picture like at Wedding Paper Divas. Instead you send your picture via email once the order has been placed.
Example: Beat As One Magnet
Here is an example of one of the Save the Date magnet designs available.
Photo Save the Date Magnets are one of the most popular choices for newly engaged couples. They allow the combination of selecting a personalized picture with the convenience of magnets so that guests can remember the wedding date. If you have taken engagement photos this can be the perfect opportunity to put the professional photos to use and share the pictures with your loved ones.
Alluring Affection is one of the most popular Photo Save the Date magnets sold by MagnetStreet Weddings. It features a aqua green teal color motif with a floral pattern. You can choose a black and white or color photo to complement the card. It’s designed by Jenny one of my favorite designers from MagnetStreet. It’s fairly reasonably priced at $1.49 per card and you can purchase coordinating envelopes and address labels for an additional fee.
Jenny Romanski is the founder of Hello Little One. The tagline of which is “develops hip stationery for the modern family”. She is a graduate of Boston College and also the Massachusetts College of Art. Jenny has partnered exclusively with Tiny Prints and Wedding Paper Divas to offer her designs. Jenny prides herself on using hip colors, modern layouts, and most of all unique patterns that are unlike anything else. Her designs always have a perfect balance of color and freshness.
The colors of this wedding Save the Date card are just so bold and bright. I love the green with the shades of pink for the actual date of your wedding. The focus of the card is just the date of your wedding, which really is the purpose of a Save the Date card. So with this card it is mission accomplished.
If you prefer the focus of your Save the Dates card to be a wonderful picture of you and your fiancé then this could be the one for you. It allows you to select a custom picture and accents it with elegant white lines that go along the bottom of the card. Just make sure to pick the perfect picture for your Save the Date.
I am a big fan of floral print Save the Date cards. They just seem to bring out the spirit of a wedding in my mind. Especially when you are having a spring or summer outdoor wedding. This design by Jenny features a floral vine along the right side set on a purple background. It also comes in an orange or brown background.
