Paper Culture

Where to Buy

Paper Culture is a fairly new entrant to the online stationary and invitations space. I first became aware of them when we received some holiday cards last year. They have made quite a splash in Save the Dates. Until recently they only sold baby announcements, baby shower invitations, and birthday invites. I’ve been eagerly awaiting their Save the Dates and am happy to announce they are finally here. I think they were well worth the wait as they have over 100 designs that are absolutely fabulous! I can’t wait to see what else they come up with.

Paper Culture offers very high quality paper as they use 130 lb. weight paper for their cards. And they have nice extra touches like rounded corners. These small details can definitely make a difference on the impression your Save the Dates will make. Paper Culture also offers a mail & message service where they will print, address (both return and recipient), stamp and finally mail your cards on your behalf. The great thing is they do all of this for just the cost of the stamp. They have a great comparison grid to show they compare to other companies. Here are a few of my favorite Save the Date designs from Paper Culture.

The pricing is also very straightforward. All cards are priced the same no matter what the design. Cost varies only by the number of cards you order.

Cards 1-20: $2.54 each (i.e. the first 20 cards are always $2.54 no matter how many you order)
Cards 21-60: $2.04 each (i.e. the next 40 cards are always $2.04)
Cards 61-199: $1.84 each (i.e. the next 39 cards are always $1.84)
Cards 200+: $1.74 each (i.e. if you order 250 cards, cards #200-250 are $1.74 each)

They have an amazing offer of free standard shipping on cards over $125.

Paper Culture also prides itself on being eco-friendly and green. All cards are printed on 100% post consumer recycled paper and all packaging and envelopes are recycled. So you can get eco Save the Dates. In fact the company is actually carbon neutral! As a side note they are based in wonderful city of Burlingame in the San Francisco Peninsula.
